Egypt's international observers reaffirmed the transparency and reliability of the Venezuelan voting system, regarding their participation in the electoral process of July 28 for the election of the President of the Republic.

Through the Instagram account of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, it was announced that during a visit to the Venezuelan Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ahmed Taher (Hewar Center), Eliane Boutros (Salem Center) and Basma Mostafa Elgokhy (Arab Socialist Party of Egypt) offered their testimonies about the development of the 2024 Presidential Election in Venezuela.

They also appreciated the opportunity to accompany the historic election day, which, in their words, took place with the highest levels of organization, transparency, impartiality and technological capacity.

In that regard, Ambassador Wilmer Barrientos Fernández offered a warm welcome to the Egyptian delegation and thanked them for their participation in the presidential election of 28J.

He stressed that the impressions and experiences of the observers will be reflected in a written informative report, in order to design a feedback process based on the recommendations of the observer delegation.

He emphasized the importance of their testimonies at all stages of the process in its pre-election, during and post-election phases.
