In Ecuador, this Monday, the political movements Citizen Revolution (RC) and Pachakutik (PK), together with other social organizations, signed a programmatic agreement with a view to the second round of elections that was described as historic.

From the Tixán parish, in the Andean province of Chimborazo, 275 kilometers from this capital, the presidential candidate for the RC, Luisa González; the leader of PK, Guillermo Churuchumbi; and representatives of other groups made public the rubric of the document.

The firm is a sign of political maturity to have leaders who are committed to the transformation of the Homeland, it is to reaffirm the principles that lead us to the construction of a State of welfare and justice, said González.

He also asserted that the agreement is based on points on which organizations agree, such as not privatizing natural resources and strategic sectors.
