Ecuador: Five members of a family murdered in Manabí

Last Friday, at least five people belonging to the same family lost their lives in the Ecuadorian province of Manabí, in the midst of the wave of violence that is going through the nation and with the activation of the State of Emergency.

According to police sources, they found five bodies, with gunshots, in the south of the province of Manabí.

Telesur explained that five minors survived the armed attack perpetrated by unknown persons in a sector of the road that connects the towns of Puerto López and Santa Elena.

“A man was found asking for help on the road, possibly a victim of kidnapping, in this area,” Telesur says.

After verifying the alert, the police took statements from him, who indicated that he was staying at a hotel in the city of Puerto López.
