This Friday, the Emergency Operations Center (COE) of the Dominican Republic warned of the increase in waves, while recommending that small and medium-sized vessels operating on the coasts of the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts take refuge in the port.

For its part, the National Meteorological Office (ONAMET) indicated that there will be no weather changes this Saturday due to the permanence of the high pressure system, which will limit the accumulated amount of significant rainfall.

According to what was published on the TELESUR website, ONAMET also specified that it will keep an eye on the “notorious increase in waves and gusts of wind”.
