Domingo Hernández Lárez: FANB dismantled structure used for illegal mining in Amazonas

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), during land patrol and search operations, located, dismantled and destroyed a clandestine structure for illegal mining in the Yagua sector, in the state of Amazonas.

The information was provided through social network X by the Strategic Operational Commander, Domingo Hernández Lárez, who indicated that these actions are framed by Operation Bolivarian Shield “Neblina 2024” for the protection of the Amazon territory, in accordance with the provisions of the fifth objective of the Homeland Plan, the 7 Law.

“In the state of Amazonas, according to our territorial legal system, mining and hydrocarbon exploitation is totally prohibited, and the conservation of the environment is a citizen's duty. No national or foreign human group will be above the interests of the Venezuelan State,” he said.

In this regard, he explained that during the operation the following materials were seized:

- A motorcycle.

- Two freezers.

- A gas cylinder.

- A wheelbarrow.

- A 6-cylinder engine.

- A 2000 W power plant

- Twelve meters of 4-inch hose.

- Three empty drums with a capacity of 200 liters.

- A Directv digital television device.

- A power plant.
