Diosdado Cabello: With Chávez and Maduro the People are present at the Miraflores Palace!

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during the grand march at the start of the electoral campaign for the presidential elections on July 28, highlighted the fervor demonstrated by the Chavista militancy that took to the streets to support the Bolivarian Revolution.

“Early on we were with the candidate of the Bolivarian Revolution, Nicolás Maduro, in the state of Zulia, in the municipality of San Francisco, where there was an extraordinary march, with the Zulian warmth of that land and its people, then we went to Petare, in Miranda, with the motorized vehicles from the east of Caracas to Miraflores, which is where the people have always been since Commander Chávez arrived, and now, with Nicolás Maduro, that people are always present in the Miraflores Palace,” he said.

He recalled that this space where the National Executive offices at the time of the Fourth Republic, was for the exclusive use of the oligarchy kneeling to imperialism and that was demonstrated when on April 11, 2002, when they removed the painting of the Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar.
