The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted the importance of the monolithic unity of the revolutionary forces to guarantee victory in the presidential elections of July 28.

During his Con El Mazo Dando program number 474, he highlighted the recent mobilizations of the Chavista people who have taken to the streets in their thousands to demonstrate their support for President Nicolás Maduro and express their rejection of the illegal sanctions imposed by the United States at the request of the leadership of opposition extremism.

“People for the street, the streets belong to the people not the surnames of the bourgeoisie, we will continue to march, preparing for the battles that are coming, unity guarantees new victories,” he said.

He questioned the leadership of opposition extremism whom he described as cynical and shameless who intend to ask for the vote of the People whom they asked to punish with the illegal sanctions of imperialism .

“This is how surnames act; with contempt for the people, with manipulation, but when the electoral moment comes they make a thousand promises and deceptions just to seek their votes,” he said.

He exalted the role of Venezuelan women in the face of attacks promoted and executed by opposition extremism, whose candidate has expressed his contempt for the women of the people.

“The opposition and surnames are immoral (...) Now they have a man who doesn't like women and that's a terrible topic. I think it's not that he doesn't like women, but that he despises them and doesn't consider them capable,” he said.

He added that, to this misogynistic attitude of the right-wing candidate, racism and classism are added. “This Mr. Inmundo González, not only despises Venezuelan women, but also blacks, Indians, sexodiversity and the entire people.

In this regard, he stressed that it will be that people whom they have mistreated, attacked and despised, who are responsible for giving victory to the Bolivarian Revolution.

“If a revolution doesn't have the moral strength of women, that's not a revolution, it's going to stand by the wayside. Women rule here and everywhere, they are a moral force. If we take stock of these 25 years of Revolution, we are here, thanks to women. Women don't give up, they never give up,” he stressed.

Extremists are corrupt and cowardly

The also president of the Permanent Committee on Internal Policy of the National Assembly (AN), recalled that despite the existence of evidence that evidences misogyny, racism and classism, opposition extremism denies it “believing that the people are idiots”.

“They are liars; they catch them eating their cheese, their mouths full of cheese and they say: 'I, no, cheese, no, I'm allergic to cheese'”, he ironized while recalling how despite the photographic evidence that evidences his participation in the banana coup, the leaders of opposition extremism deny it.

“The extremist sector of the Venezuelan right never takes responsibility for their political actions because they are very cowardly. You ask any of them and they tell you I wasn't there,” he said.

He also did not hesitate to point out that for the next electoral process, this sector of the Venezuelan right will once again sing fraud when defeated.

“They go to elections and participate; if they win they are worth it, but if they lose they come out saying that the National Electoral Council (CNE) is not reliable; they sing fraud,” he commented and recalled that these characters “were the same people who called for abstention in the elections 6 years ago, that with that CNE they were not going to elections”.

Governing for the People

Diosdado Cabello praised the fight against corruption being carried out by the Venezuelan State “whoever falls” and asserted that Chavism will be strengthened.

“The fight against corruption, inefficiency, bureaucratism, we are going to give it and we are going to win together,” he said and stressed that “this fight includes those who come to office and forget their origins because there are so many who become idiots and are not able to serve the people.”

“I have criticized him because I have seen that in meetings where the People are outside and some people don't stop to pick up a piece of paper when they go out,” he said and maintained that “on every piece of paper there is the hope of the People.”

“When the people feel trust in a leader of the Revolution when they hand him a piece of paper, there is the face of Commander Chávez,” he said.
