Diosdado Cabello: We have only one candidate

“We have only one candidate,” said the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, in his Con El Mazo Dando program this Wednesday, June 19.
When talking about the nine patarucos of the opposition, he said that “the right wing wants to blame the Revolution because they are nine candidates and we are only one”.
“Are they going to blame us for that? Are they going to blame us for not being able to agree because they hate each other? Are they going to blame us because it hasn't been possible for someone to sit them around a table to agree? We are not to blame for that!” , he noted.
He specified that revolutionaries “understand the role and the situation; that we are part of a great political project on a national scale, that we are in a Revolution where unity has been fundamental to get to where we are”.
In this regard, on the right, he argued that “their fights are not from yesterday” and pointed out that “they accuse each other and are right”.
“They don't have coherence. It is you who have deceived your own people,” he said.
