Diosdado Cabello: Venezuela has more than 20,000 commandos to defend the Homeland

Venezuela currently has more than 20,000 men and women trained in special forces (commandos) to guarantee the security of the entire Venezuelan people, said the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello.

During the inauguration ceremony of the Eliezer Otaiza Special Forces Specialization Complex in the state of La Guaira and the graduation of a thousand commands, Cabello highlighted that these special forces operators belong to the different State security agencies, as well as to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

“Today we are graduating special forces comrades from the popular-police-military fusion who are willing to do anything to defend the Homeland. You should know that all of us here will always be on the front line, doing our bit for this country.”

In this regard, he stressed that the training of these officials with high tactical and operational capacities is part of the policies being carried out by the State to defend our sovereignty and independence.
