Diosdado Cabello to Tiburones de La Guaira: You gave everything to fill our people with joy (+photos)

The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Diosdado Cabello, recognized the efforts of the Tiburones de La Guaira organization, to be able to proclaim itself champion of the Caribbean Series for the first time in its history, adding a new joy to the Venezuelan people.

This was stated by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, during the presentation to the parliament of a draft agreement in celebration and congratulations to the Tiburones de la Guaira for having been crowned champions of the Miami 2024 Caribbean Series.

From the Federal Legislative Palace, he recalled that during those days of the Caribbean Series, Venezuela was infected “with the emotion of feeling that the team was giving everything for everything.”

“There was more than one who cried with emotion, with happiness,” said the Deputy, while assuring that the People of La Guaira received them like heroes, with love, “because love with love pays, at any time in life.”

Cabello made separate mention of the litoralense fans who for years waited for a title in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League; after a championship drought of 38 tournaments, as well as the samba that never withdrew from the stadium or in the most adverse results.

He also extended this recognition to the board of directors of the littoralenses since “Thanks to their efforts, dedication to work, they achieved this victory here in Venezuela.”

He specified that the eighth championship, like the Caribbean crown, were triumphs achieved thanks to the sum of small things. “This is our country, and with the sum of all of us we are going to move this country forward,” he said.

“We received several joys, he did a tremendous U23 Pre-Olympic Championship, then the boys went to Paraguay with futsal and qualified for the World Cup, joy after joy for our country,” he stressed.

He asserted that after the Venezuelan professional baseball championship won by the Tiburones de la Guaira, in the 2023 - 2024 season, a winning hegemony of the sharks will begin.

“After the four titles came the drought, the hopelessness of the fans who spent a lot of years nursing a rooster. Now you're going to have to take it down, because now the La Guaira shark dynasty is coming,” he said.

In this regard, he stressed that this dynasty will be based on the fact that the Salados are the second team with the most players in spring training in the major leagues. “There is talent, those who want to beat Tiburones should put their batteries on!” , he emphasized.
