In his Con El Mazo Dando program, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, answered a post made by María “La Sayona” Machado on a social network in which he claims that President Nicolás Maduro 'kidnaps children' by depriving them of their freedom because they are involved in violent fascist acts.

“You kill them and bring them to their death (the children). Don't send the children forward... Don't be miserable!” , he noted.

He recalled a video from 2017 showing an eight-year-old boy preparing a Molotov bomb distributed by the fascist right.

“This is a boy who was taken from a school to Plaza Altamira and put him to build Molotov cocktails. The mother saw him by chance and they said that the boy had no parents. They put an eight-year-old boy to make bombs out of gasoline. That's not a montage, they kidnapped him!” , he reported.

He added that “they are very miserable that they don't respect childhood. Children must be sacred. We fight today so that in the future they don't have to fight, but that they can achieve a free homeland.”
