The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that the attempts to manipulate the representatives of the opposition know no limit: their desire to convince the electorate that their candidate represents the interests of the people.

During her Con El Mazo Dando program, she drew attention to the statements of the extremist opposition Delsa Solórzano, who told an international media outlet that she had experienced a 'special moment' in the Portuguese state, and using a story without supporting witnesses or images, she narrated how a supposed group of Chavistas who attended a rally of revolutionaries when they saw María Conira shed their red shirts and joined her.

“That emotional scene, was no one recorded by Delsa? Why do you lie? Where did that happen? These stories show that they are minorities, while we are a consolidated majority,” he stressed.
