The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted the trajectory of the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) and its director Douglas Rico.

“The CICPC is the best investigative body in the world. They find out and determine exactly what it is. I call Douglas (Rico) and tell him to find out about this and he has an instinct that, forgive me for the rest, but he's the best cop in this country,” Cabello emphasized in his Con El Mazo Dando program 588.
