Diosdado Cabello said that recognizing the results before the CNE is the logical thing to do in an electoral process

This Monday, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the press conference of his political organization, stated that the commitment to recognize the results in the presidential elections of July 28 must be expressed by all candidates.

Cabello, after being questioned by the decision of the candidate of the right-wing Democratic Action (AD) party, said: “About Luis Eduardo Martínez it's the logical thing, the nature of an electoral process, it's the nature of life... Whoever believes that they were born only to succeed will clash with reality and realize that this is not the case.”

“Jorge Rodríguez, general coordinator of the Venezuela Nuestra Campaign Command, has already proposed an agreement,” he said, adding that normally the opposition, after signing pacts on the results, says that there was a trap “it is important for each candidate to assume that they are going to recognize the results.”

“If you are going to elections with the National Electoral Council (CNE) you know that these are going to be audited, then to a check, before, during and after,” said the first vice-president of the PSUV.
