Diosdado Cabello: Recognizing General Sifontes is recognizing the history of the Fatherland

The first vice-president
of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello, at the first press conference of the red awning in 2024, announced that next Tuesday, January
9, the mortal remains of General Domingo Antonio Sifontes will be transferred to the National Pantheon.
Cabello explained that the remains of
this important hero come from the Bolivar state (Sifontes' home state),
while describing the General as “an exceptional Venezuelan, a Venezuelan
who didn't mind risking his life to defend the territory.”
Finally, he pointed out that
to recognize the heroics of Sifontes “is to recognize the history of the Fatherland, of
the truth of the Fatherland, which did not give up; of the courage, of the dignity of
each and every Venezuelan.”
