This Wednesday, January 31, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, read the letter he addressed to his father on July 10, 1993, when he was imprisoned in the San Carlos Barracks, in honor of his colleagues on February 4th.

“I'm going to try to read this letter as a tribute to my colleagues because that's what I experienced, but I'm sure my brothers experienced it too,” he said.

In this regard, during his program Con el Mazo Dando No. 463, the revolutionary leader emphasized how difficult it is for him to read that letter, since he wrote it two years after his father died and was unable to attend his mass.
