Diosdado Cabello: Opposition tried to tarnish the carnivals by saying that “La Guaira is a niche”

During the carnival holiday, members of the Venezuelan opposition tried to tarnish the enjoyment of the seasoners through a campaign, on social networks, where they claimed that visiting La Guaira on vacation was “niche”, denounced the Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

During the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, which he hosts with the deputy Tania Díaz, he explained that this type of message did not affect the population, who, regardless of these comments, enjoyed the different recreational activities offered in the coastal entity.

“The issue was to try to tarnish people's enjoyment, that people didn't feel at ease on beaches, in parks. They think that causes us a headache, they think that we are going to stop doing something because they told us niches, land, foot in the ground; we turned that page a long time ago,” said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

In this sense, he described as “stupid” these new attempts to belittle the population using these class arguments. “Fortunately, our people have already learned to defend themselves against these attacks,” he said.
