This Saturday, August 03, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the attacks on the National Electoral Council (CNE) and the Bolivarian Revolution, by the extreme right, are because his plan was not electoral.

“Sunday's election of the CNE was the subject of terrible attacks, which is not on the CNE, it's on the Bolivarian Revolution as such because it is part of the revolutionary State; and what was the objective? Trying to put in a CNE that would be unable to make elections, because the terrorist opposition's plan has never been electoral,” Cabello said during the special Con El Mazo Dando program No. 488.

In that sense, he referred to the issue of the minutes and pointed out that it is a lie that the minutes must be published by the electoral body. “You publish the results and those who have any problems go with their records to demand what they have to demand,” he said and noted that the revolutionary forces have their records and are not afraid of that issue.

He recalled that the extreme right scenario is not new, because every time there are elections and they win they accept the results, but when the Revolution wins they sing fraud. At the same time, he indicated that the atypical thing was that they will begin to ignore the process before the elections.

In this way, he reaffirmed that the plan of the extreme right was not electoral, “so they were going to object to any result, they knew that they could not win with the votes and therefore they were going to object to any result,” he stressed.
