The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, recalled that all the officers who have participated in the destabilizing adventures and violence of the opposition end up in oblivion.

“They ended up like rats stuck in an embassy and then fleeing this country, no one remembers them,” Cabello said, referring to the soldiers involved in events such as the one in Plaza Altamira in 2002 and February 23, 2019 at the La Carlota distributor.

He recalled that in 2019, Juanito Alimaña (Juan Guaidó) and his band shouted that their masters had 80% of the Armed Forces. “And what came out was a tiny group, and then they put them over there in a hotel in Cucuta and stole the money with which they were going to pay for it and threw them out,” he said.

He also assured that the sectoral vice-president of Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, general in chief Vladimir Padrino López, warned officers what could happen if they fall into this type of temptation.
