Salsa will take over Caracas on December 1st, when an interpreter of this musical genre, Maelo Ruiz, will have two great concerts on January 23 and Petare.
This was reported by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a press conference held this Tuesday, where he announced a series of activities that will take place in the coming days to celebrate the arrival of Christmas.
In this regard, Cabello emphasized that the Puerto Rican singer will perform after a large caravan that will take place from Petare to Chacaito and from Catia to Miraflores. “Starting at 6 in the afternoon he will be first in Petare and then on January 23. Maelo Ruiz will sing to the neighborhoods, salsa takes over the neighborhoods,” he emphasized.
“With that concert, it's going to hurt the bitter ones,” Cabello joked, referring to one of Maelo Ruiz's hits, whom he jokingly called “the king of the Encavas”.
