Diosdado Cabello: In Venezuela we have been doing our part against Fascism

During his participation in the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum, this Monday, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled that last July fascism stopped in the country, which tried to impose itself after the presidential elections in which President Nicolás Maduro was victorious.

“We can say that Venezuela on July 28, with the victory of the Bolivarian Revolution, stopped fascism in its tracks, here in Venezuela and in America it paralyzed them because they came for Venezuela but the comrades know that it's not Venezuela anymore, it's not just Cuba, no, going for Venezuela, going for full America, for free peoples, for peoples that have not surrendered to imperialism,” said Cabello from the forum held in Caracas.

He stressed that today Zionism emerges very strongly, “which is exactly the same as fascism, the protagonists are different, but it is exactly the same thing. Now to say that these hegemonic policies at some point emerged in the last century, always under other names, but we experienced similar expressions here 500 years ago, when the Spanish Empire arrived here”.

“Here in Venezuela, modestly, we have been doing our part, but we can't stay alone in Venezuela, we can't stay alone in Cuba, that's why President Nicolás Maduro's call to create that global anti-fascist front is necessary,” he emphasized.
