Diosdado Cabello: In Venezuela there is no second round, Nicolás Maduro won here!

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said this Wednesday that the Constitution of the Republic and the Law do not establish a second round of electoral processes.
“Here in Venezuela there is no second round, the Constitution does not provide for a second round (...) Elections will not be repeated here because Nicolás Maduro won here,” he emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando No. 490 program.
In that sense, he described the idea of the second round as “a gafety, not to say stupid”, while reiterating to those who suggest that from abroad that they “do not meddle in the internal affairs of Venezuela”.
He reaffirmed that in Venezuela “we are not going to please daddy and mommy's children, that is, the surnames, no, we are not going to please them, there is no way”.
