This Wednesday, October 28, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that the Bolivarian Government, through its security policies, has managed to reduce the number of murders in the country over the course of 2026.

“We just dropped it by 25% last year, and this year we are lowering it, and at the end of the year we will give the numbers,” he emphasized, dismissing statements made by the extremist Iván Simonovis, regarding the issue of police security.

In addition, in his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 587, he specified that the crime rate per 100,000 inhabitants does not reach 2.3%, “this week it is 2.27%, we don't fall for it because we like to talk with our feet on the ground”.

In that regard, Cabello emphasized that it is unlikely that there is currently a safer country than Venezuela, “look for it and see, there isn't.”
