The first
vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),
Diosdado Cabello Rondón, confirmed on Monday that impunity has ended for sectors
of the extreme right that demand sanctions and invasions against the country.
During the weekly press conference
of the red awning, Cabello evoked the Simon
Bolivar Liberator Law that was presented in the National Assembly to apply sanctions to these people.
“It is a very severe law, it provides for the extinction of domination, 30 years
in prison, life sanctions, political disqualification, they will not be able to hold
public office or election for the rest of their lives,” he explained.
He pointed out that this
instrument will be applied with the extremist leader María Corina Machado. “The
terrorist is disabled for life (...) a person with psychiatric problems
of that nature can never direct anything, if you ask for an invasion against your own
country, imagine yourself running that country,” he criticized.
“People must
understand that impunity has ended in Venezuela and that what they do,
applauding the United States, promoting sanctions and laws
against Venezuela in the United States, must have a cost and they must feel that that cost is high (...)
Impunity has ended for the terrorist María Corina, for the terrorists who accompany her, for those who are generating violence, for those who
ask for sanctions, for those who ask for invasions, for those who ask
for blockage. The chicken bottle
is over!” , he emphasized.
