Diosdado Cabello: Here the only pact that is signed is with our people (+ photos)

During his Con El Mazo Dando No. 502 program , the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed this Wednesday that the only pact signed by the Bolivarian Revolution is with the Venezuelan people.

“There will be no other Punto Fijo Pact here, but never here will there be a pact with the elites, here the only pact that is signed is with our people,” said Cabello.

In that regard, he recalled that sectors of the extreme right, on more than one occasion, have tried to revive the Punto Fijo Pact in Venezuela. “That's why Chatarrita (Henrique Capriles), every time he had a chance, would say: 'You can govern for six years, you give us six years and then we give it to you',” he said.

He also took the opportunity to recall the actions, in the Fourth Republic, of those gentlemen who betrayed the People with the Pact of Punto Fijo; for this reason, he mentioned several events such as the assassination of bachelor Rafael Lara, who was a militant of the left-wing movement MIR, during the adeco government of Raul Leoni.

In addition, he referred to the mandate of the Copeyan Rafael Caldera, in which the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), with nearly 3,000 police personnel, was raided. “The Botanical Garden was taken over until 2000. And do you know who returned it to the university? The wacko of (Hugo) Chávez, so that you can see how things are, ” he said.

He stressed that the Bolivarian Revolution will always be in the streets with the People, working and guaranteeing the well-being of the men and women of the country, and above all for the boys and girls of the Fatherland who are the future of the nation.

For this reason, he reaffirmed to the extreme right that “you will never govern this country again, ever again”.

The condemnation of fascism must begin with the condemnation of imperialism

Cabello stressed that the condemnation of fascism, Zionism, neofascism and similar expressions of hatred against the sovereign peoples of the world must begin with the condemnation of North American imperialism.

He stressed that this must be the case because it is the United States that “promotes, maintains, arms” fascists for these purposes against the free nations of the world and that does not kneel before them.

For this reason, the revolutionary leader welcomed the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum held in Caracas, at which more than 300 people from different countries united their voices in the fight against the scourge of fascism that today plagues humanity.

At the same time, he recalled that Venezuela has experienced the terror of fascism, which has been capable of assassinating young leaders such as Robert Serra. “We have already been through all that and we have remained standing,” he said, also referring to all the coup plans and plots of the extremist right with the support of imperialism here in the country.

“A World Parliamentary Forum against Fascism, Neofascism and similar expressions was held in Venezuela, an extraordinary success, we congratulate the organizers, Brother Jorge Rodríguez and the participants,” he said, stressing the importance of the unity of the Peoples in this struggle.

No official can be personally collecting fines

The also vice president for Politics, Public Security and Peace warned officials of State security agencies that no one can be charging people fines or money for their personal benefit.

“If any official is on the street asking for money, they are going to get into tremendous trouble; when it's my turn to defend them, I defend them, but no official can collect fines personally,” he said.

He also criticized those who use his name and senior officials of the Bolivarian Government to defraud people.

“This is a healthy warning for some people. There are people who at this point love to use other people's names... 'I am here because Diosdado sent me', I don't send anyone to my house; he loves to use the names of others 'I come here because the vice-president sent me'... there is more than one in prison for that,” he said.

He urged people to be aware of this type of scam and asked them not to contribute to this crime. “How are they going to believe that? Don't let anyone take money away, don't keep falling for it,” he said.

Here in Venezuela, the police have to take care of the people

The also Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reaffirmed that, following the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, work is being done in Venezuela to make police forces available to the people.

“The police in other countries are responsible for taking care of property, industries, businesses, but here in Venezuela, the police have to take care of the people,” he said.

In this way, he reaffirmed that our country is making great efforts to have “the best police forces because President Nicolás Maduro requested it.” At the same time, he highlighted how important it is for police officers to carry out their duties as established by law.

“Wearing a uniform should be proud and should be worn by an honest person who complies with the law,” he said.

They will not succeed in ending Palestine

Cabello highlighted the courage of the People of Palestine who are fighting against the genocide that the Zionist regime of Israel is committing in Gaza.

“They will be happy and the UN (United Nations Organization ) will be happy; Mr. (Antonio) Guterres will finish his term, when he finishes it, and will issue his certificate of surrender 'we ended Palestine'; because they are not going to succeed in ending Palestine, that people are not giving up.” he emphasized.

He denounced that fascism is promoted by the United States and they use it for their purposes, as is the case of Israel and its warrior policy in the Middle East .

He took the opportunity to refer to the promises of peace in the campaign, made by the candidate Donald Trump, who won the presidential elections in the United States and will take office on January 20.

“Hopefully the genocide of the Palestinian people will end and the only way it will end is for those who sponsor it to stop doing it and that those who commit to it comply. We condemn it here, now, tomorrow and always,” he said.
