In Venezuela, the only transition that is coming is to socialism, as stated by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, when he dismissed some of María con Ira's proposals.
In his show Con el Mazo Dando, broadcast number 463, he stressed that what the opposition member María con Ira said is false, that “on several occasions we have been close to the transition”.
“Madam, they have never been like Joselo said: neither this, much of this, with you plus this nor close,” he said.
For that reason, he argued that the extremist opposition sector “don't know us, they don't have the slightest idea who we are.”
“Here the transition is to socialism, there is no transition,” he emphasized.
He reiterated once again that the capitulation of revolutionary forces is not being considered, “there is no transition, we are not going to capitulate. What we are going for is for”.
