Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during his Con El Mazo Dando program, reiterated that groups linked to Colombian paramilitarism and drug trafficking will not be able to establish themselves in Venezuela as fascist sectors of the opposition that meet with them intend.

“A guy who is part of a security group linked to the opposition wears a cap alluding to the drug trafficker Chapo Guzmán at an event with María Corina Machado and no one says anything because they think it's cool, but this is not where drug paramilitarism is going to take over politics, that's not here,” said the first Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

It should be noted that, in recent years, it has been discovered that opposition coalition parties have installed a “paramilitary” structure in several states of the country to act as an irregular group autonomously, even responding to drug trafficking mafias.
