Diosdado Cabello, during his show Con El Mazo Dando, criticized the Aruban government for its insistence on sanctioning Venezuela with coercive measures that prevent the exchange of commercial flights between the two.

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) questioned this position, recalling that this Caribbean island has used as a source of its economy the smuggling of goods and materials from Venezuelan territory.

Aruba, the superpower, an island that Venezuela has always lived in and used smuggling as its biggest source of income, as in the case of the sale of copper from Venezuela, where it was stolen by mafias and transferred to this Dutch Antille, which in this way became one of the largest producers of this metal in Latin America,” he said.
