Diosdado Cabello Rondón asked the opposition leadership to abandon the deception of its militancy and recognize that the flight of Edmundo González Urrutia to Spain was planned by the former candidate of opposition extremism in his quest to get rid of María Corina Machado and Venezuelan fascism.

“They will continue to deceive his militancy, saying that González will fight from outside, not that he is a breastfed child, but he says: I am 75 years old where I am going to hold on with that swollen leg, I'd better go there in peace,” he said.

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) lashed out at surprised people who say he left because he was being persecuted, not by the government, but by opposition fascism.
