The first vice-president of the
United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, recalled that eight
years have passed since the planting of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, a man “who
will be remembered for all time, his enemies no longer know who they are.”
In this regard, during the PSUV press
conference, he emphasized that Commander Fidel Castro will forever be “an ethical, moral,
revolutionary reference, of struggle, of solidarity, of his ability to say and do.”
He pointed out that Venezuela and Cuba will always be sister
nations, and at the same time, he highlighted the affection that the Venezuelan People and other
Peoples of the world will always have for Commander Castro.
On the other hand, he recalled that it is four years since the physical departure of the most important football player in South American history, Diego Armando Maradona. He also regretted the departure of the great Gaita, Danilo Badel.
