The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reiterated that one of the objectives of the reforms to electoral laws must be aimed at not allowing traitors to the country or those who denigrate the electoral system to run for elected office.

Cabello asserted that, although in the PSUV these positions are debated and assumed, they are a disciplined militancy that knows the enemy it is facing, without underestimating them.

“My proposal is to exclude those who constantly do not know the election results, call for invasions against their own country, or those who say that there is fraud and do not present evidence,” he said.
