This Wednesday, May 22, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stated that “Chavism does not persecute anyone.”

This was stated in response to a comment made by the deputy of the opposition bench Bernabé Gutiérrez and quoted from the social network X in which he pointed out that “if the extremist opposition sector wins the presidential election of July 28, there is a risk of Civil War with serious consequences. They would come with the hatred and resentment that the Government itself has, but apart from that, they would come with persecution.”

In its program, Con El Mazo Dando emphasized that “the Government has no grudge against anyone or hate, what's more, some sectors accuse us of being too good people.”
