The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that Commander Hugo Chávez is the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, which is why he emphasized that revolutionaries must follow his example to be like him a a little more every day.

“We love Commander Hugo Chávez, because Chávez is not just anyone, no, Chávez is the leader of this revolution, always at the forefront, his thinking (...) let's be like Chávez, nothing more,” said Cabello, recalling the victory of the Leader of the Revolution in October 2012, in its Con El Mazo Dando program No. 584.

In that regard, he stressed that the Commander left a great legacy and in him there is always a way to continue moving forward.

“We always find some detail about Commander Chávez for any situation, for the most bitter situation you always find a Chávez sending him the signal wherever he is, what to do in certain situations, what to do, always thinking about collective well-being, always thinking about the love he felt for his people until the last moment,” he said.

He also took the opportunity to recall that the Commander, despite his pain, signed the Workers' Act and came to call for national unity.

“Everyday lessons , despite his pain he didn't stop, with his pain he came here in December to leave us a message and called us to the National Union (...) to continue moving forward and fighting,” he said.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that “we will always make that call for union, always, always, for reconciliation within Chavism, if you have your ambitions, if you were at Chávez's side and you were still there, and you were close by, and you still have personal ambitions, you wasted your time there.”

“Those who have moved away because of whatever situation, remember Hugo Chávez and define where the battle is, on the other side of the adversary who says he has 92% but who does not move half a block, not a third of a block or a town that was recognized by Hugo Chávez on the street,” he said.

Consequently, he reiterated the importance of telling the new generations who the Commander was, regarding the campaigns of the right-wing sectors to discredit him.

“A lot of people in the world are wondering 'and at this point, at this moment, are we still talking about Commander Chávez? , and we have failed in that, because in some cases we don't want to talk about him, when Chávez is the essence of this Revolution (...) We have to remember him every day, and take advantage of the consultation of October 18 of the Communes and there is Chávez,” Cabello stressed.

Regarding the campaign waged by sectors of the right wing against his program, Cabello reaffirmed that if it weren't for Con El Mazo Dando, his longliners would not be billed.

“A lot of them would be fighting wherever they are if it weren't for El Mazo, they wouldn 't bill anything,” Cabello said during the broadcast of his show.

He also defended his program by pointing out that the format is based strictly on the dissemination of true facts. “I never do it with bad intentions, I do it based on the truth in return you are pirates who lie to you,” he said.

“According to you, my show exudes hate, but I only pass on what you say. I don't make them say that, what I do is pick up what they're saying and on that we're building a program that's almost 13 years old,” he said.

In addition, he challenged those sectors of the opposition that complain so much about the Mazo to make their own program. “Now you ask yourself, why don't they make such a program? To see if they're going to catch us off the base. I invite them to do such a program,” he said.

The also sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace emphasized that, in the face of difficulties and adversities, the Bolivarian Government has always stood up to the people in the streets.

“ We show our faces, we are there in neighborhoods, in communities, in communes, in the streets, you think that the electrical issue has been little, it's a serious problem and we assume that,” he said.

Cabello assured that within the PSUV they analyze the tasks, to always talk to the People and discuss the issues they have to discuss.

In this regard, he noted that “right now this weekend we are in the consultation campaign. Are we going to campaign in a locked room? No, no, on the street next to people, under a mango tree, in the corner of the square.”

On the other hand, he asserted that the extremist political sector is so poorly organized in every way, that they have not been able to use the difficulties with the National Electricity System (SEN) and build up a matrix of opinion to realize their plans for violence.

“ These people are so bad, that opposition is so bad that, despite the electrical problem, they have not been able to build a matrix to burn the country, as they would like to burn it because people know that they are not an alternative,” he emphasized.

He stressed that the extreme right “is an alternative to destruction, they will never be an alternative for the construction of the country”, stressing that unlike them, the Revolution is with the People always overcoming difficulties, as Commander Hugo Chávez taught us.

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace also denounced that the sectors of the extreme right are responsible for promoting hatred in their attempts to destabilize the country.

“They are the promoters of hate, they are the generators of hate,” said Cabello, questioning that some sectors of the opposition now intend to present themselves as defenders of coexistence and peace.

He argued that those who today question the Constitutional Law Against Hate, for Peaceful Coexistence, are the same people who supported violent actions registered in the country.

“Today those who are saying that are the same people who burned living human beings, the same people who supported the madness and put cool people on the road for Venezuelans to die,” he said.

Cabello clarified that not all opponents share these behaviors. “If there is anyone who says they are against these expressions of hate, they destroy it. What's wrong with you? To be an opponent you have to be a hater. It's not worth it. There are also good opposition people, Venezuelans, good, hardworking people. So they are in charge, they are responsible for scratching all the opponents and generating hatred between brothers,” he said.

Faced with this scenario, he called for curbing expressions of intolerance and vindicated the need to promote respect between those who hold different political positions. “Let's stop hate, put a stop to hate,” he urged.

If you want to see a good political party, see the PSUV

Cabello highlighted the organization and broad militancy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), contrasting it with the partisan structures of the opposition.

“If you want to see a good game, come to me because I have a flower, to see people, to see organization, to see people, to see leaders, to see women, students, people of African descent, indigenous people,” he said.

Cabello responded to statements by opposition leader Rafael Poleo, who argued that Democratic Action is the only opposition party with militancy, while the other organizations function as movements.

For this reason, Cabello thus invited us to observe the structure of the PSUV as a sign of mobilization capacity and political organization. “Just in case you want to learn, you want to learn what it's like,” he added.
