Diosdado Cabello: Chávez Candanga is my fault, did you know that?

“Chávez Candanga is my fault. Did you know?” This was revealed by the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, when commenting on the birth of the @chavezcandanga account by Commander Hugo Chávez.
Cabello commented that 14 years ago, on April 28, Commander Chávez made his first publication on the formerly called social network Twitter under the user @chavezcandanga, “with which the communication revolution began in the digital battle.”
He specified that “one day Commander Chávez told me that the day he started on the networks that would be Candanga and I reserved that name on Twitter and people began to follow him believing that it was him (...) I almost forced him to start. Then we had to set up a situation room and organize.”
He added that “Chávez was ahead of his time.”
