The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, this Wednesday, November 13, challenged the new Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, to both take the polygraph test.

This was proposed by Cabello, in response to Rubio's suggestion of linking him to drug trafficking. “Narco Rubio takes advantage of the fact that you are Secretary of State, we are going to take the polygraph test you and me. I ask five questions and you ask five.

On his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 503, he said that “I'm going to ask you a question: Have you ever used drugs in your life?”

“We are going to measure ourselves, then. Second: Have you used drugs in the past six months? Third: Do you have drug trafficking friends? We measure ourselves easily, to see who is lying,” he said.

For a fourth question, Cabello specified: “Have you received commissions using your public office? And I owe you the fifth one for the next program.”

The polygraph test, also known as “the lie detector”, is a procedure that measures the body's physiological responses to specific questions to verify a person's honesty.
