What does Antonio Ledezma mean when he points out that without María Corina Machado there are no presidential elections in Venezuela? , asked the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, during the press conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.

Cabello recalled that “it was that same big guy who went to the United States to say that there was going to be a coup d'etat here on January 1st, that he had spoken to the military, and now he says that he doesn't know anything.”

“Now he goes out to say that here in Venezuela there will be no elections if María Machado is not a candidate,” said Cabello, while noting that Ledezma once again highlights her anti-democratic nature, since “they are not interested in elections, because they have always believed that we are going to capitulate.”

“We are not going to capitulate to anyone, to anyone; comply with the Barbados Agreement,” he said.

Cabello said that when President Maduro and Jorge Rodríguez say that the Barbados Agreement is mortally wounded, “it's not because of us, it's because of them that they haven't complied. Or ask the gringos to see if they have fulfilled something they committed to.”
