Diosdado Cabello advocates peace in US elections and asks to respect the election results

During the press conference of the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the organization's general secretary, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, spoke about election day in the United States (USA) and reiterated the position of the awning on international democratic processes.

According to the PSUV website, Cabello fixed his position in the face of the closing of the elections in the North American nation, stating: “Of the elections in the United States, they close tomorrow; we always ask for the peace of the countries that are going to elections. The results are from that state, from that country, and as such they must be respected. We've always wanted that, no matter what country it is.”

In this regard, the revolutionary leader stressed that mutual respect for the self-determination of peoples must be the guiding principle in international relations, regardless of the nation where the elections are held.

Cabello, together with the National Directorate of the political organization, ratified his commitment to peace and unrestricted respect for the internal affairs of States, demanding equal consideration for the sovereign processes of Venezuela.
