This Friday, during the program Café en La Mañana broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), María Gabriela Vega, highlighted the impotence of approving the Organic Law for the Inclusion, Equality and Integral Development of People with Disabilities, because it allows the transformation of the country's society.

“This Law is transformative, because we go further, we are going to the organic, to the structural, because we have been served by the Bolivarian Revolution for 25 years. There is not a day that we have not been served by Commander Hugo Chávez and now by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro,” he said.

In this regard, the parliamentarian indicated that this law, like that of 2007, maintains the same percentage of inclusion (5%) in the area of both public and private employment, however, the one approved on March 14 establishes reasonable adjustments such as the aspect of accessibility in the spaces of the company or institution, and all the aspects that require this type of personnel.

As published on the VTV web portal, this legal instrument for people with disabilities contains five chapters and 112 articles that express guarantees of equality and non-discrimination.
