The expansion of the BRICS is a long-awaited event, because it is the economic hope of the Peoples of the South, in the midst of the wear and tear of Western powers, as stated by the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Fernando Soto Rojas.

In the Al Aire program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he valued the fight against corruption in the country and the Congress of the Five Generations.

Regarding the BRICS Summit being held in the city of Kazan, Russian Federation, he specified that the elimination of the gold standard has been disastrous for countries, because dollars are issued without sustainability.

In the midst of this situation, he pointed out that China has emerged as a power and the world is moving towards new centers of power, which is why the meeting in Kazan is the focus of attention of many countries.

He stated that in this integration mechanism, there will be no rivalry between its members, because it is a win-win relationship.

“The emerging powers China, Russia and India, in their historical practice, have no interference or impose political decisions on States. Humanity is struggling to overcome the concept of imperial domination and Venezuela supports efforts to build a multipolar world,” he stressed.

On the other hand, on the fight against corruption, Soto Rojas emphasized that corruption violates the dignity of the Venezuelan people. Great men and women are honest people, the fight to eradicate this scourge is something that unites the people,” he said.

He considered that the fight against corruption should be with exemplary measures and an ethic, which is why he applauds the measure of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, against corrupt bureaucrats “whoever falls”.

He affirms that in the construction of popular organization, political formation must be permanent. “The most difficult thing is to be a revolutionary,” he said.

For this reason, he valued the formation of the Congress of the Five Generations, to strengthen the Bolivarian project.
