With regard to special taxable persons, Lobo pointed to the modification of the qualification parameters. “In the Capital Region, the rule applies when annual revenues exceed 3 million higher-value units of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), or two hundred and fifty thousand each month,” said the deputy.
He also indicated that for the rest of the national territory, the provision establishes six hundred thousand annual indices, a figure equivalent to fifty thousand per month. The parliamentarian stressed that these economic and tax measures make tax obligations more flexible and easier to comply with, and also make it possible to redefine the amount of income for special taxpayers.
