This Tuesday, September 3rd, the Deputy Minister for North America of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs (MPPRE), emphasized that “the way in which Canada demonstrates the lack of independence and self-initiative in its foreign policy is increasingly shameful.”
This was highlighted by Ron, in response to a post on social media from the Embassy of Canada, in which his government condemns the arrest warrant issued by the Venezuelan authorities against the fascist extremist opponent Edmundo Gánzalez.
“When Canada is able to express its own foreign policy and ceases to be a U.S. instrument to cover up criminal actors who threaten Venezuelan peace and democracy, we will take note of their considerations,” he said.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister, in his account on the social network Telegram, assured that Canada reproduces “a script of falsehoods provided by its bosses in Washington, the Canadian government raises unfounded accusations that ignore Venezuelan institutions and the democratic will of its people.”
“He cynically speaks of freedom and fear, not to mention the wave of fascist violence that wiped out the lives of 25 people, or to question the contempt of justice by a former candidate who, although claiming to be the winner, never appeared before the courts or before the electoral authority to challenge results,” he stressed.
Ron said that the Canadian government “intends to lead a Lima 2.0 Group for a Guaidó 2.0 but will only achieve a new and resounding failure.”
