During
the Al Aire program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the deputy to
the National Assembly (AN) and member of the Democratic Action (AD) party, Luis Eduardo Martínez, proposed the signing of agreements
in support of the electoral process.
“We propose the signing of three agreements or pacts between political and national representation, the first total support for the electoral process, a second pact that means the recognition of the presidential elections whatever the result, and (the third) where we all commit ourselves to working for Venezuela, going around the world and saying let us work,” Martínez said.
According to what was published on the VTV web portal, the parliamentarian stressed that the electoral process is established by the Bolivarian Constitution of Venezuela and that is why the Electoral Power not only chooses the dates but also the conditions of the schedule.
In addition, he highlighted the Day of Dialogue with
various sectors in which “there were 26 proposals for elections and those
were collected” and presented to the National Electoral Council (CNE).
