The deputy
to the National Assembly (AN), Ramón Lobo, in his participation in the
morning space of Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Al Aire, highlighted that the country's
economy grew by 5.5%.
In this
regard, he indicated that in the month of January of this year, inflation was 1.2%,
a result considered the lowest since 2012, unlike last year
when the figure was 42.1%.
“The
Government has focused on defending purchasing power, and this will
lead us to strengthen real wages in order to advance the economic
recovery scheme,” Lobo said, explaining that since 2021 “we have come
from a gradual growth situation and the economy is expanding.”
He stressed
that thanks to the different entrepreneurial spaces, they have generated a great productive
force, in addition to the diplomatic relations between Venezuela and its strategic
partners in the world that President Nicolás Maduro has achieved.
