Deputy Infante: The People do not want more sanctions but the Dialogue that guarantees political peace

The first vice-president of the National Assembly (AN), Deputy Pedro Infante, emphasized that “organizations, our people, our people do not want more sanctions and stress that Dialogue is the path that guarantees political and country peace”.

He asserted that frankness, sincerity, respect and the national interest of conversation have prevailed during the days of the Dialogue Table. “One approach has been to nationalize the Dialogue (...) which is between Venezuelans and Venezuelans,” he said.

In that regard, he congratulated the members of the Venezuelan opposition parties that live in the National Parliament, for their participation in the aforementioned National Dialogue.

He reported that on February 08 and 09, they will continue to receive proposals for the schedule of the 2024 Presidential Elections at the Federal Legislative Palace (PFL).

Infante, from the Hall of Shields of the PFL in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, gave an overview of the day of National Dialogue for the Presidential Elections 2024.

On the day of this Wednesday, February 07, he specified that social organizations and civil society, cultivators, intellectuals and academics participated.

“Today we continue with an extraordinary and beautiful meeting with academic, intellectual, cultural and university sectors of the country that participated in the National Dialogue Day. More than 56 representatives who submitted their proposals and contributions,” he said.
