The head of the faction for the Bloc de la Patria, deputy Diosdado Cabello, asked the National Assembly (AN) this Tuesday to carry out an in-depth investigation into the crime of Orlando Figuera.

In this regard, during the regular session, he specified that the investigation must serve to bring to justice the material and intellectual actors of Orlando Figuera.

He recalled that at that time the prosecutor of the time was rebuked and “the lady said she couldn't act because those videos were manipulated. What manipulation was there? If that was recorded with people on the street (...) you can clearly see what she is doing; that speaks of that lady's complicity with those who ordered violence in Venezuela and should also be investigated by omission, for denying justice to a woman mother, Inés, of that young man”.

In addition, he warned the opposition that lives in the AN that in these types of events you cannot be passive. “They have tasted something of the evil of those other sectors of the opposition, of which they are capable, I'm going to tell them something, if they can they go first for us and then they go for you,” he said.

The request made by the Faction of the Fatherland Bloc was approved by the deputies to the National Assembly by a majority and was delegated to the Domestic Policy Committee to initiate investigations.
