Deportivo Táchira and Carabobo already know their rivals for the Libertadores

The Copa Libertadores 2025 drew the group stage of the tournament in which the Venezuelan teams Deportivo Táchira and Carabobo FC participate. With favorable keys for the favorite clubs, with the defending champion Botafogo, River Plate, Flamengo and Palmeiras well placed, the competition promises a phase full of attractive matches.

Deportivo Táchira was part of the draw in pot number 3 and was included in Group C of the Copa Libertadores. In the bracket, he will face Flamengo, Liga de Quito and newcomer Central Córdoba from Santiago del Estero. Táchira competed in the 2024 edition and scored only one point.

For its part, Carabobo FC ended up in Group A, with the reigning monarch Botafogo, Estudiantes de La Plata and the University of Chile.

The Copa Libertadores Group Stage will be played starting next month and its schedule will be announced in the coming days. The first two of each group advance to the round of 16 and the third of each bracket will fall to the South American Cup.

The final of the Copa Libertadores will take place on November 29 at a venue that has yet to be determined by Conmebol.
