The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, assured that the representatives of the oligarchy who aspire to govern the country are the same stateless people who were preparing to hand over the Essequibo territory to the English.

“It's not the last names, but what they represent, they think the owners of Venezuela they signed a document in which they handed over our Guiana Esequiba, to the English in exchange for removing the “lands” that governed Venezuela “in 1861,” he denounced.

He said that the Machados and Zuloaga are the heirs of that exclusive social class that governed after Independence, during the federal wars and in the years of the Fourth Republic.

“The Machado and Zuloaga of the Contry Club are the vendepatria, the usual thieves, who think they own Venezuela and Venezuelan territory,” he said.
