The sector vice-president for communication, Freddy Ñañez, reported through his account on the social network X, about a meeting with home delivery companies, with the purpose of advancing a joint work plan.

In an official statement, it was detailed that it was agreed to transfer the Telegraphic Postal Institute of Venezuela (IPOSTEL) to the Ministry of People's Power for Transport the competence of these companies.

Below is the full text of the statement:

Authorities of the Bolivarian Government and representatives of the companies operating home delivery services, better known as “Delivery”, held a cordial and fruitful meeting this Monday with the purpose of advancing a joint work plan.

At this meeting, the National Executive agreed to rescind the resolution of the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology (referring to the home delivery service and published in Official Gazette No. 42,813, dated February 5, 2024), and to transfer the Telegraphic Postal Institute of Venezuela (Ipostel) to the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation; a decision that was greatly welcomed by the companies providing “Delivery”.

In the same way, it was agreed to form a Work Commission and a Security Commission together with agencies of the Venezuelan State, which will link the Peace Quadrants with the “Delivery” providers.

Both parties agreed to remain in constant dialogue, in order to improve their impact and relationship, through the consolidation of policies of support and joint cooperation, where the main beneficiary is the Venezuelan people.
