Before the end of the year 2026, a tax reform will come into effect in the country in response to the country's different economic sectors, said the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

“This reform seeks to harmonize the tax burden, that this tax burden is at the service of economic growth and at the service of the productive processes of the private sector and that they allow a reorganization of the labor responsibilities of private individuals and the State,” he said during his participation during the 82nd annual meeting of FEDECÁMARAS.

He also pointed out that this tax harmonization must serve to consolidate and support workers' rights.

On the other hand, the President noted that in the last year, tax revenues in the non-oil area increased by 22.6 percent. I also indicate that, this year, the entry of finished products into the country has fallen by 34%.

“It's not a policy of protection policy, it's a policy of accompanying the country's productive sectors,” he emphasized.
