Delcy Rodríguez: Our grandparents are not unguarded

The country's grandparents have always had the support of President Nicolás Maduro, who has always been by their side thinking about how to reach out to them in the worst moments of the current situation in the country, said the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

“Let our grandparents know that they are not unguarded and have never been, at the worst of times. The Workers' President has always been at the forefront thinking about how to reach out to them so that they don't feel the loneliness that some grandparents and grandmothers go through,” he said during the presentation to the National Assembly (AN) of the bill for the Protection of Social Security Pensions against the Imperialist Blockade.

In the same way, he affirmed that the Revolutionary Government and the Venezuelan People are willing to give everything for our grandparents.

In this regard, he pointed out that the legal instrument that led to the parliament has been very well received by the different economic sectors of the country. “This law is opposed by extremists, who in 2015, when they came to this parliament, were asking for blockade, sanctions, suffering for the people and then came with a clean face to say that this was the price to pay for removing Maduro from Miraflores,” he said.
